Govt on nation building mega campaign: Minister Banskota
Kavrepalanchowk Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Banskota, has said government was engrossed on the mega campaign of nation building by materializing the goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal- Happy Nepali.’ Inaugurating the upgrading of a roadway stretching from Lakuribhanjyang to Namobuddha via Panauti here Friday, Minister Banskota said the government was busy in making laws last year, so, the achievements would be seen coming year. “We’re in the mega campaign of nation building. Now onwards, you will see the results. You can take the example of petroleum pipeline as the quick achievement of a big project,” he assured.
According to the Minister, big development projects were getting implemented. He asserted that the present government was not a liar. “What we speak that we do,” he argued, adding that criticism would not hinder the nation building campaign at all.He however sought people’s help in the national building initiative. He further gave the examples of development as the ongoing projects of establishing an iron factory in Nawalparasi, feasibility study on hydropower production in Sunkoshi at the cost of Rs 110 billion, expansion of Suryabinayak to Dhulikhel section into the six-lane road.
Meanwhile, Minister Banskota inaugurated the new school building at Panchkhal municipality-10 on Friday. He also addressed a programme organized to honor the SEE graduates and said the education would be gradually oriented to technology.
